This is who we are

Clear Performance is a holistic executive function performance system engineered for neurodivergent high-school student-athletes — a repeatable ecosystem in which the entire methodology, technology, and delivery infrastructure is built on one organizing principle: the holistic approach.

A holistic approach treats the student-athlete as one integrated person rather than a collection of separate problems addressed by separate providers. It recognizes that cognitive performance, physical recovery, emotional regulation, executive function, sleep, stress, social and family context, academic load, and athletic demand are not independent variables. They interact constantly. A failure in one dimension cascades into the others; an investment in one dimension compounds across the others. The system that supports the student-athlete must mirror that interdependence — not fragment it.

Who Clear Performance Serves

Diagnosed with ADHD or a related condition, often in middle school.

Currently performing at a high athletic level but losing academic ground each semester. Parents have tried tutoring, accommodations, and short-term therapy without sustained results. The family is exhausted, the athlete is frustrated, and eligibility is approaching risk. The Clear Performance system is the structured infrastructure that finally integrates what no single provider has been able to deliver.

No formal diagnosis, but the pattern is unmistakable — smart, talented, inconsistent.

Parents have heard from teachers for years that the student is capable but disorganized. Athletics is the one place the student visibly excels. Academics is the place where executive function challenges have been invisible until high school cognitive demands exposed them. The Clear Performance system is positioned to serve this athlete without requiring a diagnosis.

Top of their sport, often with NIL deals or D1 recruiting interest.

Cognitive load is now compounded by external visibility and competitive pressure. Eligibility, GPA, and academic preparedness directly affect their athletic future. The family is seeking a premium, discreet, results-oriented system — not a tutoring service and not a therapy practice.

The Executive Function System

Executive function is the cognitive infrastructure that allows a person to plan, prioritize, organize, initiate, sustain effort, regulate emotion, and adapt to changing circumstances.

It is the operating system of the brain — the layer that turns intention into action and capability into completed work. When executive function operates well, intelligence translates into performance. When it operates poorly, even the most capable student-athlete fails to execute on what they are otherwise fully able to do.

How the System Addresses It

Clear Performance is organized around eight core executive function skills that determine whether a student-athlete succeeds in the dual-demand environment of school and athletics. Each is addressed structurally by the system — not through generic encouragement, but through specific operational practices integrated into the weekly rhythm.

Working Memory
Externalized weekly plan reduces dependence on holding tasks in mind
Planning & Prioritization
Monday planning protocol with structured priority setting
Task Initiation
Scheduled execution blocks with structured start cues
Time Management
Weekly rhythm aligned with practice, travel, and exam calendar
Organization
Single source of truth for assignments and deadlines
Sustained Attention
Time-boxed work sessions with check-in cadence
Emotional Regulation
Mid-week check-ins surface friction before it becomes crisis
Flexible Thinking
Structured plan adjustments for unexpected schedule changes

Executive Function as Infrastructure, Not Therapy

Clear Performance does not attempt to fix the brain. The system externalizes executive function — building the structure, the cues, the cadence, and the accountability that the brain cannot reliably produce on its own. The student-athlete does not become someone else. They operate inside a system that supports who they already are. This distinction is the heart of the system's approach.

Neurodivergence — and the Strengths-Based Approach

Neurodivergence is the umbrella term for the natural variation in how human brains develop and operate. It describes brains that process information, regulate attention, manage emotion, and learn in patterns that differ from the statistical norm. Neurodivergence is not a disorder. It is a difference. Some of those differences come with significant strengths — pattern recognition, creative thinking, hyperfocus, energy, resilience — and some come with real challenges in environments built around neurotypical norms.

The Strengths-Based Approach

Every existing alternative in this space — clinical, educational, and most individual practice arrangements — is organized around deficit. The diagnosis names what is wrong. The treatment plan addresses what is broken. The accommodations work around what is missing. The framework is structurally negative; the student-athlete becomes a list of problems to be remediated.

Clear Performance is organized around the opposite premise. The CP Method identifies and operates from the student-athlete's existing strengths — the pattern recognition, the hyperfocus, the energy, the creativity, the resilience that brought them to elite-level athletics in the first place — and builds the executive function infrastructure around those strengths, not against them. We do not try to make a neurodivergent brain operate like a neurotypical one. We build a system that lets the neurodivergent brain do what it does best, with the operational scaffolding that makes that possible at school as well as on the field.

The Reframe

A neurodivergent student-athlete who has been told for a decade that they are smart but disorganized, talented but inconsistent, capable but failing to execute, arrives at Clear Performance and hears something different: your brain is not the problem. The mismatch between your brain and the environment is the problem. We are going to build the system that closes that mismatch — by amplifying what you already do well, not by trying to make you into something you are not.

Parents FAQ

  1. 01What is Clear Performance?
Clear Performance is a holistic executive function performance system for neurodivergent and execution-challenged high school student-athletes in grades nine through twelve. The system integrates cognitive performance, academic execution, athletic demand, and health and wellness into one weekly operating rhythm — delivered through certified system practitioners working from a documented methodology called the CP Method.
  2. 02Why does Clear Performance help student-athletes?
The core premise of the model is simple: underperformance among capable student-athletes is not primarily a lack of intelligence or effort — it is a deficiency in systems that support consistent execution. CP closes that gap with a repeatable, holistic framework that turns inconsistent academic and athletic behavior into structured, measurable performance.
  3. 03Is this therapy or coaching?
Neither. Clear Performance is a system, not a coaching service and not a clinical service. Therapy addresses the past — processing, diagnosis, regulation. Coaching addresses individual skill development. Clear Performance addresses the forward-facing operational structure of the student-athlete's week. Where therapy is warranted, the system refers to qualified clinical providers. Where coaching is happening, the system operates alongside it, not in place of it.
  4. 04Does my student need a diagnosis?
No. Clear Performance serves both diagnosed neurodivergent student-athletes and undiagnosed students whose parents recognize the executive function pattern — smart, talented, capable, but struggling to execute consistently in the dual-demand environment of school and sport. The system operates around what the student is actually experiencing, not around a label.
  5. 05What ages and grades do you serve?
Grades nine through twelve, typically ages fourteen through eighteen. The system is engineered specifically for the high school developmental window when executive function is developing most rapidly and academic and athletic demands become most intense.
  6. 06How is Clear Performance different from what we have already tried?
Because those services and Clear Performance operate at different layers. Therapy addresses the past. Tutoring addresses content. Individual coaching addresses one dimension. Clear Performance addresses the forward-facing operational structure — the weekly rhythm, the accountability infrastructure, the coordination across every dimension of the student's actual life. If prior interventions have not produced sustained results, it is often because none of them owned the integration.
  7. 07What does the system actually do week to week?
Every week runs on the same operating rhythm: Monday planning, midweek execution with a structured check-in, Friday review, weekend reset. The certified system practitioner and student build the week accounting for practice, travel, exams, and recovery. Mid-week check-ins catch drift before it becomes a crisis. Friday reviews reinforce what worked. The rhythm is encoded in the system itself, not delivered as advice.
  8. 08What is the location?
Clear Performance is built in the environments where executive function actually happens — at home, at school, at practice, and in the community. The last thing a student-athlete's family needs is another appointment across town. That's why Clear Performance is delivered entirely online, with a weekly virtual session anchoring the week and the onboarding system running between sessions. So the system travels with your student-athlete wherever they go.
  9. 09What does it cost, and how does pricing work?
Clear Performance is delivered as a monthly package, not hourly sessions. The monthly investment varies across a three-phase arc — Phase 1 System Build is the highest-touch and highest investment, Phase 2 Performance decreases as the system requires less installation, and Phase 3 Maintenance is the lowest-investment long-term retention layer. Specific pricing is discussed in the initial consultation. No hidden fees, no surprise charges, no long-term contracts.
  10. 10Is Clear Performance covered by insurance?
No. Clear Performance is not a clinical service. Insurance reimburses medical services, and executive function performance infrastructure is not classified as a medical service. If your family carries a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account, some administrators allow performance-focused services with appropriate documentation. Ask your administrator directly.
  11. 11How does the system coordinate with our therapist, tutor, coach, or school?
Coordination is built into the methodology. The certified system practitioner operates from documented protocols for referral, communication, and boundary maintenance with the existing providers in your student's ecosystem. Your position coach owns the game. Your trainer owns the body. Your tutor owns the content. Your therapist owns the clinical care. Clear Performance owns the week around them.
  12. 12When does Clear Performance launch, and how do we get started?
Clear Performance will be available in the spring of 2027. Register for more information on this page to receive updates as the launch approaches, priority access to the first consultation slots, and the opportunity to be part of the initial cohort. If your family's situation is urgent, contact us directly to discuss whether a pre-launch arrangement is possible for your specific circumstances.

Student-Athletes FAQ

  1. 01What is this?
Clear Performance is a system that helps high-school student-athletes handle the week — school, practice, sleep, everything — without the whole thing collapsing on Sunday night. It is not therapy. It is not tutoring. It is not another appointment where someone tells you what is wrong with you. It is a weekly structure that runs alongside you, so the stuff you already know how to do actually gets done.
  2. 02Why is a parent making me look at this?
Probably because they watch you every week and they see the same thing you feel — that you can handle any single piece of what is on your plate, but holding all of it together at the same time is where it breaks down. That is not you being lazy or bad at school. That is a real thing, backed by real science, and it happens to a lot of student-athletes. Clear Performance is built for it.
  3. 03Is this going to feel like therapy?
No. Nobody is going to ask how any of this makes you feel. Nobody is going to dig into your childhood. The system is forward-facing. It works on your actual week — what is due Monday, what practice does to Tuesday, what the road trip does to Wednesday. The conversation is about your calendar and your work, not your emotions.
  4. 04Do I have to talk about my ADHD or whatever they think I have?
You do not have to have a diagnosis to be part of Clear Performance, and if you do have one, you never have to talk about it. The system works from what you are actually dealing with, not from a label somebody put on you. If you want to bring it up, you can. If you never want to bring it up, that is fine too. Your call.
  5. 05Is this going to take a bunch of time I do not have?
No. The whole point is to get time back, not take more. Once the system is running, most of it happens in the background — the plan is already built, the check-ins are quick, and the friction of trying to figure out what to do next disappears. The people who spend the least time on the system are the people the system is working best for.
  6. 06Will my coach or my team find out?
Not unless you tell them. Clear Performance is private between you, your family, and the certified system practitioner you work with. It is not shared with your team, your coach, your school, or anyone else. If at some point you want to loop your coach in — some athletes do, once they see it working — that is your choice and it happens on your terms.
  7. 07What actually happens in a session?
You meet with your certified system practitioner virtually — usually once a week. You look at the week ahead together. You figure out what has to happen when, around practice and games and everything else. Midweek there is a short check-in to see if the plan is holding or if it needs to shift. Friday you look back and adjust. That is the rhythm. It is more like planning with a strategist than being lectured by an adult.
  8. 08Is this going to make me feel like something is wrong with me?
The system is built the other way around. It starts with what you are already good at — your sport, your identity as a competitor, the way your brain actually works when it is working — and builds structure that lets more of that come through. There is no framing here that treats you as broken. If anything a session feels like, it feels like the strategy meeting a professional athlete would have with their team, not like being sent to the office.
  9. 09What if I try it and I hate it?
Then you stop. There is no long contract, no lock-in, no punishment for leaving. Most athletes who are skeptical at first give it two or three weeks and figure out whether it is actually helping. If it is not, that is real information and nobody is going to make you keep going. If it is, most athletes end up wanting to stay.
  10. 10When can I start?
Clear Performance will be available in the spring of 2027. If your family signs up for more information on this page, you will be among the first athletes served. If your situation is more urgent, your parent can reach out directly and we will see what is possible before the formal launch.

Every sport. One week that holds.
